December 10, 2001 - New Distributions Are Coming

For the last two months we've been diligently developing several new Salvo distributions. Some are currently in the hands of beta testers. We'll have new products to announce in the first quarter of 2002. Happy Holidays!

October 19, 2001 - Salvo PIC18 Patch Available

One of our Salvo Lite users discovered a problem with the PIC18 libraries. A patch for Salvo Lite has been released and placed on our ftp site.

If you are a full-version Salvo user please contact us directly and we'll email the patch file to you.

September 14, 2001 - gcc (GNU C Compiler) Port in beta

As part of our commitment to cross-platform development, we've ported Salvo to the GNU C Compiler.

With this port, Unix/Linux and Windows users can develop Salvo applications with gcc on the PC and then simply recompile for their embedded target processor.

April 9-13, 2001 - ESC 2001 West

Come see us at the Embedded Systems Conference April 9-13 at the Moscone Convention Center in our hometown of San Francisco, California. Once again we're in booth #517 (HI-TECH Software).

We've been busy since the ESC in September 2000. Salvo v2.2 is in final beta with lots of new functionality, improved performance, simpler configurations and a full set of standard libraries. The entire Microchip PICmicro line is now supported, and soon we'll announce support for new compilers, too.

This year, visitors to our booth can see Salvo running in a truly tiny place -- a PIC12C509A, functioning as the heart of a multitasking remote-controllable PWM fan speed controller. If you can't make it to the show, you can still get all the gory details in our new App Note AN-6.
