OSLOC_ALL

I was reading an-11 and it was not clear to me whether I could define OSLOC_ALL in my salvocfg.h when using a library. I defined OSLOC_ALL as 'near' but the HI-TECH PICC18 compiler indicated a redefinition because salvolib.h also defines OSLOC_ALL when a library is used. So I guess you can't redefine OSLOC_ALL when using a library, but can you please confirm that.

Also, it would be helpful if you listed all the config options that can be used in salvocfg.h when using a library. I can figure out some of them by looking at mem.c but perhaps there are others.

Hello Donald.

In the Configuration chapter of the Salvo User Manual you'll see that the configuration options have been organized in two distinct groups -- those for all distributions (i.e. for library and source code builds) and those for source code distributions only (i.e for source code builds). The first group contains all of the configuration options that can be used with library builds.

OSLOC_ALL is listed in the "for source-code distributions" section, and so it cannnot be used when doing a library build.

So you're right -- you can't redefine OSLOC_ALL when using a library.

Regards,
