Interprocess Communication

Postby benmichaud21 » Wed Nov 19, 2008 10:15 am

I'm using the PIC 12F675 with Salvo. I was just wondering what kinds of methods Salvo supports for passing data from one task to another. For my purposes it could be something just as simple as an int. Thanks

You can use Salvo's message or message queue events for passing ints ... rather than pass a pointer to an object, you just pass the int directly (since it will fit inside a pointer-sized variable), and then dereference it properly.
