Salvo 8051 sdcc

Postby matv » Fri Aug 06, 2010 4:17 am

Hi!
We are doing a small pre study at work concerning rtos.
How much work do you reckon it would take to get salvo to compile with sdcc for the 8051?

I have not looked at the source code yet, I just thought I would ask first.
To see if this is worth looking into further, or if it is a dead end.

Best regards,
Martin

A lot.

SDCC is not ANSI-compliant, and cannot handle some of the constructs used by the Salvo code (e.g. pointers to structures that contain unions).
