Hi
i m aamir zarar.i m working a project"transfering of GPS coordinates over the base station for the centralised monitoring of the troops position or the vehicles".For the tranfers of GPS data in the digital form i m using DM 1800 development kit.Plz visit the website (www.cirronet.com) 2 get more infromation about the kit whaose operating frequency is 434MHz.My question with u is that im interfacing the GPS receiver with PIC 16F877 microcojntroller in order to convert the GPS string data into the form that is required for the DM 1800 field node(digital form).Plz help me out how i can interface the GPS receiver with the PIC in order to get the required result.How i should program the PIC.if u hv alredy having any code available for PIC for this purpose plz send it 2 me.
i need in detail help from u.

You'll probably have more luck posting your request to Microchip's forums -- we have lots of customers doing GPS + Salvo + PIC, but of course we can't give you their code ...
