Postby Hemanth » Fri Apr 22, 2005 2:44 am

Hi All,
i m new to salvo RTOS, i have installed the evaluation version of Salvo Lite for PICmicro(R) MCUs V3.2.3. to MPLAB V6.40. I m using HITEC PICC compiler.

I m able to open the project tu1lite.mcp provided in the tu1 tutorial.
i went through the manual and few of application notes provided in the salvo.

when building the application i m getting the following error:

Error[000] salvo ut u1sysasalvocfg.h 53 : #error: No MAKE_WITH_??? symbol defined. See salvocfg.h.
Error[000] salvo ut u1sysasalvocfg.h 59 : #error: SYSA must be defined for this PICC tutorial project ...
Halting build on first failure as requested.
BUILD FAILED: Fri Apr 22 16:13:05 2005

can anyone please help me to build this application.

Thanks,
Hemanth

Hello.

You are using the example code which has a salvocfg.h (and other source code) that works for a large number of compilers and Salvo versions (Salvo Lite, LE, and Pro, etc.).

Add these lines to the start of your salvocfg.h:

#define SYSA 1
#define MAKE_WITH_FREE_LIB 1

That is the easiest way to solve this problem.
