HPDPIC V8.02PL1 and Savo lite

Hello!

I have downloaded your demo version of SALVO just to try it out.

I'm trying to compile tutorial 6, and have followed the SalvoUserManual.pdf
but I get "Cannot open include file "main.h". And there is on main.h in tu6 directory so I copied one from tu2. But then I get "#error: Undefined Salvo test system(SYS*) Def req". I get the same result with other examples/tutorials. What have I missed?

Hello.

The Salvo tutorial and example programs require a couple of symbols to be defined in order for them to build successfully. For PICC and Salvo Lite, each project requires the symbols

SYSA
MAKE_WITH_FREE_LIB

to be defined, project-wide. Also, certain include paths need to be defined.

The projects in salvo ut u1-6sysa* are already fully configured for use with MPLAB v6.x and PICC -- you should just load them and have it work. If you are using the PICC demo compiler, then you'll need to follow the instructions in AN-17 also.

Additionally, see AN-26 and RM-PICC for the compiler-specific info
