PICC 18 and MPLAB 6.20

PICC 18 and MPLAB 6.20

Postby per.norrfors » Mon Jun 30, 2003 2:18 am

I see that a lot of people have questions about this.
Why can´t you folks just create a simple project file and just zip the folder.

I have big problems to evaluate your litedemo product. What we all need is a quick start to see how we can use the Salvo.
We are starting up a new project right now, so we can´t wait. We are using 18F452.

Best Regards from Sweden

Hi Per.

1) See my other reply .

2) We've been waiting for HI-TECH's new release of the PICC compiler -- which will solve some compatibility issues with MPLAB v6.x -- to build the PICC and PICC-18 projects for MPLAB. I'll see what I can do about getting an example project out shortly (maybe by Wednesday).

Sorry for the trouble you're having.

Hi Per.

I've posted a .zip file that has instructions as well as the .mcp and .mcw files for tu5 for use with Salvo Lite and PICC-18 here.

Regards,

Hi Per.

Were you able to complete your Salvo Lite evaluation with the new files we made available?

Hello Aek,
Yes I was able to compile, but I think it´s very tricky when you use files from different demo projects.
But I understand your problem when you support hundreds of different controllers. It can´t be easy.

Now is the demo loaded in the target and it works great. I will go on next month after my holliday.

And by the way, can´t find information of the SYSE, SYSF.. label. What's that?

Have a nice summer and thanks for the help.
Per

Hi Per.

The SYSE, SYSF, etc. values are listed in Appendix C of the Salvo User Manual.

Also, each Compiler Reference Manual indicates which SYS? is associated with that compiler's Salvo projects.
