I am trying to connect a camera to UART1 and take pictures with it. I have working python code that uses ser.write() and ser.read() in order to send and recieve commands to the camera. I am now trying to translate this code to salvo, using the CSK_UART library, but I am a little confused as to how this thing actually reads and writes. I've been messing around with CSK_PutcharTx1, CSK_RcvcharRx1, CSK_GetRx1Buff, and CSK_SendcharTx1, but I can't seem to get it right. If anybody has some examples of reading and writing to and from the UART or can offer any other help I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

CubeSat Kit customers can see a full example in the test1 CubeSat kit example application.

There is a newer and nicer set of similar functions here:

These are freeware and available to all. However, these are just code, with no examples.
