error correction?

For issues specific to TI's MSP430 line of ultra-low-power microcontrollers, including compilers (e.g. Quadravox AQ430), IDEs (e.g. IAR Embedded Workbench) and development tools (e.g. TI MSP-FET430 Flash Emulation Tool).

out of curiosity... does this thing have error detection built into it? if yes, how about correction?

just trying to figure out if we need to do some programming over here on the components to do this for us.

thanks

the msp430... though after doing a ton of reading, i suppose that depends on the system we're using. if i'm incorrect in that assumption, please let me know.
