Missing *.c Files

For issues specific to TI's MSP430 line of ultra-low-power microcontrollers, including compilers (e.g. Quadravox AQ430), IDEs (e.g. IAR Embedded Workbench) and development tools (e.g. TI MSP-FET430 Flash Emulation Tool).

Missing *.c Files

Postby Tamer » Tue Feb 18, 2003 2:04 am

I am unable to run the demo files as the c:salvosrc folder only has one file, called mem.c

Where are the other *.c files ???? (like: binsem, delay, event, init etc...

And any other comments on this RTOS will be appreciated.

Thanks..

Hi Tamer.

The source files are only included with Salvo Pro.

With Salvo Lite, you need to follow these steps in App Note AN-20:

Creating and Configuring a New Project
Adding your Source File(s) to the Project
Adding a Library
Building the Project

Do not follow this step:

Adding Salvo Source Files

since you don't have Salvo Pro.

With Salvo Lite, the only Salvo source file you can add is mem.c. And you have to link to a Salvo library, e.g. libsficc430-a.a.

Also, if you haven't already done so, load the projects in salvo ut u1-6syss (for ICC430) to confirm that you can successfully build a Salvo project with ICC430.
