v3.0.3 of Salvo for TI's MSP430 is now available.

v3.0.3 corrects v3.0.2's limitation of no auto variables in tasks.

As of v3.0.3, tasks can have up to 256 bytes of auto variables of any data types.

Salvo for TI's MSP430 includes tutorial projects tu1-tu6 for the KickStart, Baseline and Full versions of the IAR MSP430 compiler.

Special Note for KickStart Users
There is one minor problem that KickStart users will face -- the Salvo projects were created with the full version of the IAR MSP430 toolset. For reasons we don't quite understand, Kickstart users do not get the TI simulator (v3.01) when they start C-SPY from these projects (they'll get the older simulator instead), even if they have the TI simulator already installed on their machine. The older simulator does not simulate run-time interrupts.

So, if you want to get the full effect of tutorial projects tu5 and tu6 (which use interrupts), you'll need to recreate the project from scratch with the KickStart tools -- then it'll work fine.
