Library Documentation

We are currently changing the way we document compilers and libraries for individual targets. We plan to issue a "Compiler Reference" manual for each target and compiler, and it will include much of what's in the Libraries chapter of the User Manual, as well as compiler-specific information.

Because of this planned change, the Salvo User Manual does not yet include information on the library nomenclature for the Salvo for TI's TMS320C2000 DSPs libraries. We apologize for this inconvenience.

For the time being, we recommend that users link to the sftic28xla.lib (Salvo Lite) or sltic28xla.lib (Salvo LE and Pro) libraries. These libraries are for c28x DSPs, the large memory model, and support multitasking with delays and events. If support for timeouts is required, use sftic28xlt.lib/sltic28xlt.lib instead. For the appropriate Salvo configuration options for these libraries, refer to the Libraries chapter in the User Manual (the configuration options for c28x are analagous to those for, say, TI's MSP430) and the salvocfg.h files in the Salvo tutorials.
