Manual bug

Postby luben » Fri Oct 26, 2001 4:00 am

Hello,

Here is one small mistake in the manual again (I don't think that somebody will trap on it), as we say here - "You can't mark it from airplane".

On page 308 of the manual (358 of the PDF) you wrote (line 7):
Enabled by: OSENABLE_SEMAPHORES

From what I know about SALVO it should be:
Enabled by: OSENABLE_BINARY_SEMAPHORES

I think that it's wrong too the :
Content in: sem.c.... it should be binsem.c

By the way, what is the difference of the RAM and ROM consumption between BIN and count semaphores? I suspect that BINSEMAPHORES conumes almost the same size (if OSBIG_SEMAPHORES = FALSE).

Best regards and have you a nice weekend
Luben

Hello Luben.

Thanks for the notice -- the changes have been made to the v2.3.0 manual.

The code for binary semaphores and semaphores is nearly identical in size when OSBIG_SEMAPHORES is set to FALSE.
