Good morning.

According to ESA Call For CubeSat Proposals on the Vega Maiden Flight, an "Important note" (page 7) says that The CubeSat specification [AD4] recommends two separation switches but permits the use of a single switch. ESA requires that two switches be used. According to this note, is Pumpkin's Cubesat Kit suitable ? Has it got two separation switches or can it be easily modified to have two separation switches ?
Thanks a lot.

We brought this to ESA's attention (indirectly, through the University of Liege and working with Cal Poly) and they are satisfied that our separation switch (a 10A unit) is sufficient.

While I do not have an official document to show this, I do know that the University of Liege's CubeSat (based on Pumpkin's CubeSat Kit) has been accepted as satisfying ESA's requirements.
