The baud rates are fine (the first thing I checked). What are the chances of this error being a coding problem? Chris

1) The same code runs on the Dev Board and FM430 -- so does the Dev Board show the same behavior?

2) Also, it's not clear to me whether you're running the original, as-installed-by-the-software-installer software, or something that you have made / modified.

3) Now that I look at it more closely, it looks to me like the code is starting and being continually reset (e.g. via an ISR crash or a WDT) shortly thereafter. IOW, it's crashing over and over again, a short while after it starts.

1) Yes, I've just checked and the Dev. Board does the same thing. With no flashing LED either.
2) The code is the original stuff for Test1 in: C:SalvoCubeSatKitExampleMSP430MSP430x1xxCubeSatKit_Dev_BoardTestTest1 directory.
I changed main.c, line 92, with the addition of my initials to check whether I could download correctly (obviously I'm doing something wrong still).

I've uploaded my Salvo dir with everything (2.2 MB) to www.geocities.com/cpbridges_ssc/Salvo.zip if you wanted to open the project and check it out. Edit: the link might not work, if not, I can email directly.

3) I'm getting:

on the FM430 board when I plugged the USB in today. Not sure if this means anything to you or not...

Hi Everyone, Just letting you know that I've sorted it. I had problems with the library (usual CW 1.4 error) and was using an older example. The Dev and FM430 works fine Chris
