3V or 5V?

Postby bgat » Tue Nov 28, 2000 6:51 am

I'm no EE, but I say 3V--- power consumption seems more important than SEU resistance in Cubesat applications, I think.

There is a family of 3V CMOS parts that are 5V tolerant, these chips are useful for interfacing to 5V circuitry. If that won't cut it, then there are always optoisolators...

So far, the entire main PCB and breakout PCB can run at 5V or 3/3.3V, user-selectable.
