We are interested in purchasing the MPS430 Pro (source code version) and have a Vs1.26 IAR compiler and a Hitex emulator. Is the source code symbols included for debugging the code.

While we do not have any direct experience with the Hitex emulator, you shouldn't have any difficulty with source-level debugging when using Salvo Pro with IAR MSP430 C v1.26A. It should work perfectly.

In a source-code build, your access to the source-level debugging symbols will be immediate (they're normally generated with IAR's default settings) because you're building directly from the Salvo source code.

With a library build, you will also be able to do source-level debugging as long as you link to an i-option Salvo Pro library.

So, with Salvo Pro, "the source code symbols" are "included for debugging the code."
