Salvo Prototyping with DOS/WINDOWS

Postby PILAP » Thu Jun 26, 2003 6:14 am

I wish to give a try on SALVO.
However, I am wondering if it be possible to have a port of SALVO LITE/LE running in a DOS/WINDOWS environment using BORLAND/VISUAL C++ for DOS..

Hello.

We haven't done a port to the old Borland compilers. I suspect it would be pretty easy. We have done ports to the gcc and Metrowerks x86 compilers, and they are included in most Salvo distributions via Custom Installs.

I think that anyone with Salvo Pro ought could do a port to the old Borland compilers without much trouble.
