Problem with PICC 3.1.0-a

Postby Nado » Wed Oct 23, 2002 4:37 am

I think there is a problem with the slp42caa library file. After I upgraded to version 3.1.0-a, I get the following linker errors:

Linking:
Command line: "C:HT-PICBINPICC.EXE -MPLAB -Mman4020.map -ICD -16F876 -oMAN4020.HEX MAIN.OBJ TSK_CAL.OBJ TSK_COR.OBJ TSK_PSW.OBJ TSK_PWR.OBJ TSK_READ.OBJ TSK_SER.OBJ TSK_USTA.OBJ C:SALVOSRCMEM.OBJ C:SALVOLIBSLP42CAA.LIB "
Error[000] : function _OSReturnMsg appears in multiple call graphs: rooted at intlevel0 and _main
Error[000] : function _OSReturnMsg appears in multiple call graphs: rooted at intlevel0 and _main

I'm using PICC compiler, v8.01PL1. Salvo versions 3.0.0 and 3.0.8 build without a problem.

Hi Nado.

Yep, you're right -- we fixed a typo in one place and failed to fix it in another ... we'll get an update out ASAP.

For now, completely uninstall v3.1.0-a, re-install v3.0.8 w/patches, and wait until v3.1.0-b is available later today ...

Sorry about that ...

Hi Nado.

Salvo for PIC v3.1.0-b is now being posted to the website.

Please wait until the upload completes (about 20 minutes from now to be on the safe side) to ensure that you get the complete file ...
