Track Execution Time of Tasks

Postby balvisio » Mon Nov 07, 2011 1:14 pm

I am trying to perform a timing analysis of the tasks that I have currently in my Salvo application. I was planning to toggle I/O pins on/off when a task enters/exits and measure elapsed times with the oscilloscope. However, I was wondering if there is a tool that could be run along with/inside Salvo to make this process simpler. Also, any other sugesstion/tips on how to do this test would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Bruno

Not off the top of my head ... a dedicated Salvo usre built a pretty cool piece of hardware to do something similar, and use the hooks in the scheduler to display on a dedicated LCD+LED which tasks were running .... bu tit's not a public product.
