Yes, but you must set OSBIG_MESSAGE_POINTERS to TRUE.

Is this method of passing data to the ALARM message allowed?, I have tried this and was unsucessful.

const char al_zone[4]= {1,2,3,4};
OSSignalMsg(ALARM,(OStypeMsgP)&al_zone[2]);

I have reverted to using a static variable in the task doing this signaling.

My original goal here was to use the constant, so I could free up RAM.
